How To Install The Jira Integration In Your HubSpot Account?

Go to your HubSpot account and click on the Marketplace Icon located in the main navigation bar. Next, select the option of App Marketplace. 
  • Locate the Jira integration using the search bar.

  • Click on “Install App” in the top right corner of the page.

  • Look at the required permissions and click on “Accept” to complete the process.

  • How To Create And Manage Jira Issues After Integration?
Once you have installed the Jira integration in your HubSpot account, you would need to create necessary Jira issues and manage them. Here are the steps involved in doing so after integrating HubSpot with Jira:
  • First, go to “Services” in your HubSpot account and select “Tickets.”

  • Next, choose the name of a ticket.

  • Finally, click on the option of “Associate Jira issue” in the right panel of the Jira section.

  • Click on the dropdown menu in the dialog box and look for an existing Jira issue. You can also click “Create New Jira Issue” to create a new issue. If you are making a new Jira issue, you must add the necessary details and essential attachments. 

  • If you have selected an existing Jira issue, click “Attach Jira Issue.” Otherwise, click on “Create Jira Issue.”

  • The concerned Jira issue would appear on the associated ticket, company, and contact records in the Jira section.

  • If you want to view comments from the associated Jira issue on your ticket timeline, click “Filter Activity” in the Activity Tab in the middle panel.

  • Now, click on the Jira checkbox in the Integrations section. This would sync and display the Jira comments on your ticket timeline.
